Kiteboarding has long been limited by gear complexity, learning barriers, and location constraints. The HYBRID² changes that. Its unique design  allows beginners to practice safely, solving key learning challenges with minimal hassle. It reduces its projected area while sitting on the water,  preventing unwanted downwind drag and keeping the rider in control to  focus on the relaunch.  

A lightweight design improves the kite‘s natural behavior when not actively steered, a key characteristic for stability. Our innovative T-frame construction allows the kite to sit stably at the wind window edge instead of constantly pulling down. The so-called minimal fly-down supports the drift behavior, which is especially noticeable when foiling waves or handling the HYBRID in light wind. 

Durability is a major factor during lessons. When depowered, the single-skin sections reduce lift and limit acceleration, preventing harsh impacts. It even smooths out power spikes immediately when the beginner lets go of the control bar, decreasing pull or being accidentally lifted. The Cross-Safety System ensures an optimal flag out after release with a medium to low-aspect kite.
